MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES & DUES

FULL MEMBERSHIP - for 12 months
Full membership in SAJA is open to all journalists resident in North America or working for a North American journalism organization (includes teaching journalism or mass communications).

Student membership is open to those attending higher-education institutions or high schools in North America.

Associate membership is open to all other individuals, including non-journalists in North America and journalists living abroad.

All dues are good for 12 months from the date you sign up (except LIFE MEMBERSHIP, which is valid through your full career). You can pay by credit card or check - the whole process takes less than five minutes.

Dues are not deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes. Dues may be considered ordinary and necessary business deductions. Please consult your tax adviser.
